Was going through this article on decrease in sales of Benz in India.

Two things to notice in this article :

- Reason for decrese in sales
- Increase in head count in their R&D centre

1. If Benz in India believes that their sales is down beacuse of credit issues, I feel sorry for them. They need to change their marketing manager and hire me. I thought the target segment did not need credit to buy their cars or atleast majority of them. Secondly with BMW, Audi and other SUVs invading the market Benz is becoming less attractive. Indians have been seeing Benz for ages now on road and seeing BMW and Audi on TV. With new entrants in the market and with almost no design innovation on Benz front we can only expect the market to shrink for Benz.

2. Benz R&D centre was around 200 people 5 years ago and now 300+. An effective increase of 30 per year. All other captive centres have grown multifold. So please do not expect Benz to solve our employment issues.

Third time lucky

This is the third time I am starting a blog and hopefully will be lucky enough to continue for a long time.

The name of this blog is also dedicated to all my friends who have with a lot of love forgotten my orginal name. It also indicates that I have come to terms with the fact that the nick name is going to be with me all my life :-).

The last 2 two times I started a blog I chose a subject. I guess that dint work too well. So here we go, I just want to blurt out everything I feel.
